Designerform Thermolaminated Doors
Create made-to-order cabinetry fronts with Designerform thermolaminated doors and panels, supplied through Joinery Supplies Tasmania.
The range combines custom sizing with a broad choice of routed profiles, colours and finishes for kitchens, laundries, wardrobes, studies, storage and other interior joinery.
Designerform thermolaminated doors and panels are made for internal joinery using an Australian-made, low-emission E0 substrate and wrapped with Japanese Bonlex PVC foil.
The door face is machined to the selected profile before the foil is pressed over the face and edges, creating a continuous decorative surface around the routed detail.
Whether you are a cabinetmaker specifying a complete project or a homeowner comparing door styles, our Hobart and Launceston teams can help you work through the profile, colour, finish and order requirements.
Designerform Thermolaminated Profiles
The Designerform style gallery includes square-edge and decorative routed options, framed profiles, finger-pull details, fluted designs and J-curve components. Some profiles also have nominated flute-width or rail options.
Use the gallery to shortlist a look, then confirm the current profile code, dimensional limits and compatible finish with the team at Joinery Supplies Tasmania.
Designerform thermolaminated doors are normally produced with a white back. Colour matched faces on both sides can be requested. Matching panels, routed doors, single-sided and double-sided options are available.
A restrained edge detail can suit a clean contemporary scheme, while a framed or routed profile adds more definition to Hamptons-inspired, classic and transitional interiors. Integrated finger pull and fluted options introduce detail without relying on conventional handles across every door.

Colours and finishes
Designerform offer a broad palette of colours from solid whites and neutrals, darker tones, muted greens, warm earthy colours and timber look decors. Ultra Matte, Supermatt, Satin, Breeze, Luxe, Gloss, Husk and woodgrain options.
Digital and printed colours are indicative. Screen settings, lighting and production batches can affect how a decor appears, while gloss level and texture change how it reads in a room.
Shortlist your colours online, then ask the Joinery Supplies team about current physical samples in Hobart or Launceston before making a final selection.
Consider sheen, texture and grain direction. Lower-sheen finishes reduce reflected light and can give cabinetry a quieter appearance; Gloss creates a more reflective surface. Textured and woodgrain decors add tactile or directional detail.
Why Choose Designerform Doors?
Custom Made to order: Specify the project dimensions, profile and decorative finish rather than working from fixed modular door sizes.
- Profiled face and wrapped edges: the Bonlex foil is pressed over the machined face and edges for a continuous decorative surface.
- Material specification: Designerform use Australian made low emission E0 substrate and Japanese Bonlex PVC foil.
- Coordinated options: standard white backs are used, with colour matching on both sides available on request where suitable.
Designerform thermolaminated doors and panels are used for internal applications including:
- Kitchen doors, drawers, overheads and end panels
- Butler’s pantries and laundry cabinetry
- Wardrobes, studies, entertainment units and storage
- Vanities and other interior joinery where the design and installation are suitable
