Rhino Plywood
Rhino Ply is a 9 ply construction, providing superior stability and durability. Kitchens will continue to hold their shape and will look great for years to come. The high pressure laminated surface is hard wearing and easily cleaned.
Rhino Ply is long lasting and durable. The bonded surface of Rhino Ply is made from sheets of high pressure laminate, which are hard wearing, moisture resistant, stain resistant and easy to clean.
Cabinetry such as kitchen, laundry, wardrobe and vanity carcasses made from Rhino Ply, are incredibly durable, rigid and strong.
- White Rhino Plywood is 16mm thick and Laminated on both sides with 0.8mm HPL
- Black Rhino Plywood is 17mm and Laminated on both sides with 1.0mm HPL
- (HPL Is a High Pressure Laminate)
White Rhino Plywood is finished in a Textured High Pressure Laminate
Black Matt High Pressure Laminate is supplied with a protective film on both sides

Plywood is harder wearing on tooling compared to other substrate materials such as MDF and Particle Board.
Rhino Premium Plywood
Phenolic glue provides very good water resistance andlight-coloured glue line. Generally, A-bond plywood is best used in situations of limited weather exposure (Examples: exterior door skins, marine plywood, and concrete form-work).
Plywood bonded using WBP phenolic glue can be used in damp or wet places but will not last long under constant direct rain.
We recommend edging Rhino Premium on all sides using a PUR adhesive to provide additional protection against moisture. Rhino Premium has a much higher moisture / weather resistance to standard Rhino Plywood

Extensive research has enabled Laminex to achieve the intricate detail of woodgrains at a scale previously unavailable in Australia.
The development of cutting-edge technology and a dedication to the Australian design industry has meant Laminex can offer the most realistic, no repeat laminate designs on the market.
Key Features
Laminex TrueScale ® brings all the recognised hallmarks of Laminex durability and resilience – stain, heat, water and scratch resistance, while remaining UV stable.
Traditionally, printing of organic woodgrain textures at this scale would be practically impossible, yet with Laminex TrueScale ®, lengths of up to 3600mm can be achieved with no repeat, for true to life results and remarkable authenticity.
The Woodgrain TrueScale™ range is suitable for high wear horizontal benchtops and flat surfaces, vertical applications including wall panels, cabinets and panels.
Offering enhanced flexibility and authentic textures Laminex TrueScale ® can be paired with ABS Edging in 15m x 38mm x 1mm rolls to provide realistic and hardwearing edges for benchtops, shelves and cabinets.
Laminex AbsoluteGrain®is available on Decorated Board and laminate.
Most suitable for cabinetry carcasses, doors, panels, and furniture, matching ABS edging is available in a wide range of widths for benchtops, panelling, cabinetry, and shelving.
The range includes all 12 of the Next Generation Woodgrain décors, as well as a broad range of existing Laminex décors across our Woodgrain and Solid Colour collections.
Using innovative printing technology, 9 new woodgrains are also available in Laminex TrueScale®, allowing for large scale, no repeat designs to be created.
